Life Guard lets you save someone with a boat. The game shows a distance you need to travel. You read that number first. Then you move the boat the right amount. You do it by using 10 steps and 1 steps.

You can move faster when you use 10 steps. You can move little bits when you use 1 steps. The game tells you not to use the 1 steps too many times. That helps you learn to think in tens. If you move too far, you press the back arrow to fix it.

Life Guard feels like a number puzzle with a rescue prize. You try to land on the exact distance. You get better when you spot how many tens fit inside the number. Then you finish with ones. Each time you save a person, it feels like you solved the number in a smart way.
