Clear the Number Board by Solving Addition Puzzles

Add Em Up is an educational number puzzle game where you place numbered tiles on a board and use addition to remove them. The goal is to clear as many tiles as possible by finding number combinations that fit together.

The game features a colorful grid filled with numbers. You receive additional number tiles that you can place into empty spaces.

However, you cannot simply put the numbers anywhere and expect the board to clear. You need to think about the tiles surrounding each empty space.

Make the Surrounding Numbers Add Up

The main rule in Add Em Up involves matching the number you place with the total of its neighboring tiles.

For example, imagine that two neighboring tiles show 3 and 2.

Adding them together gives you 5.

Placing a tile showing 5 in a position touching those numbers creates a matching total and allows the group to disappear.

The game also has a special rule for larger sums.

For example, 9 + 4 + 2 = 15. A tile showing 5 can match that total because 15 ends in 5.

This makes the puzzle different from ordinary addition exercises.

Choose Where to Place Each Number

Add Em Up gives you a limited amount of space on the board.

You need to look for empty positions where the next tile can help remove nearby numbers.

Placing a tile in the wrong position may leave it on the board and take up useful space.

You can see upcoming numbered tiles, allowing you to think about your next moves.

Try checking the surrounding numbers before placing anything. One empty space may allow you to clear several tiles at once.

As the board becomes more crowded, finding useful positions becomes harder.

How to Play Add Em Up

Use your mouse to select the next available numbered tile.

Drag the tile toward an empty space on the board.

Look at the numbers around that position and work out whether they add up to the number you want to place.

Release the tile to complete your move.

A correct combination removes the matching tiles from the board.

Continue placing numbers while trying to create enough space for the remaining tiles.

Think Ahead Before Making a Move

The challenge in Add Em Up comes from managing both numbers and empty spaces.

Do not concentrate only on the tile you are placing. Look at the numbers that will remain afterward.

Sometimes, clearing a small group creates room for a much better move.
