A subtraction game with moving number balls

Math Lines: Subtract to Get 2 is a math puzzle game where the player shoots numbered balls at other numbered balls. The goal is to make pairs where the difference equals 2. When the correct pair meets, the balls disappear. The player must clear the line before it reaches the end.

How the game works

The player controls a launcher at the bottom of the screen. A numbered ball appears in the launcher. The player looks at the moving line of number balls and finds a number that gives a difference of 2.

For example, if the launcher has 7, the player may look for 5 or 9. Both can work because 7 minus 5 equals 2, and 9 minus 7 also equals 2. The player aims carefully and fires the ball into the line. A correct match removes the pair and helps slow the danger.

Why it is good for subtraction practice

Math Lines: Subtract to Get 2 makes subtraction feel more active than a normal worksheet. The player has to think quickly, but the rule stays simple. Find two numbers that are 2 apart.

This game helps children practise number difference. That skill matters because subtraction is not only about taking away. It also helps children compare numbers and notice how far apart two numbers are.

The moving line adds pressure, so the player must focus. Random shots can make the line longer and harder to clear. Smart shots create space and keep the game under control.

Math Lines: Subtract to Get 2 suits learners who already know basic subtraction and need faster practice. It gives them a clear goal, colorful action, and repeated number thinking in every round.
