Find the Missing Number and Complete the Math Puzzle

Mind Quiz is an educational math game where you solve addition problems by finding the missing number. The game takes place in a classroom setting with a large green blackboard and four possible answers displayed underneath.

Instead of solving ordinary addition questions, you need to work out which number completes the equation.

Each question shows two numbers with a plus sign and an equals sign. One number is missing, and a question mark takes its place.

Your job is to choose the correct answer from four options labeled A, B, C, and D.

Mind Quiz helps children practice addition, recognize number relationships, and improve their mental math skills.

Solve Addition Problems With Missing Numbers

The main challenge in Mind Quiz is discovering the missing number.

For example, the blackboard might show:

1 + ? = 10

You need to find the number that makes the equation correct.

The four available answers might be 6, 8, 9, and 7.

The correct choice is 9 because 1 + 9 = 10.

Another question might show:

5 + ? = 10

This time, the missing number is 5 because 5 + 5 = 10.

Every question encourages you to think about how numbers add together instead of selecting an answer at random.

Use Subtraction to Find the Missing Number

One useful way to solve Mind Quiz questions is to use subtraction.

Imagine the blackboard shows:

3 + ? = 12

You already know the total is 12. Subtract 3 from 12 to find the missing number.

12 – 3 = 9

Now check your answer by adding the numbers together.

3 + 9 = 12

This method works for many missing-number addition problems.

You can also count forward from the first number until you reach the total.

How to Play Mind Quiz

Start by selecting Start from the main menu.

Read the addition equation displayed on the green blackboard.

Look at the four answers in the orange box below the board. Work out which number belongs in place of the question mark.

Click or tap the correct answer to make your selection.

The main menu also includes Help and Ranking options. You can check the Help section for instructions and use Ranking to view the game’s ranking information.

Improve Your Mental Math Skills

Mind Quiz encourages you to understand addition rather than memorize answers without thinking.

Try solving each question in your head before looking at the choices.

You can use your fingers to count when a question feels difficult. You can also break larger numbers into smaller parts.

Pay attention to the equals sign. Both sides of the completed equation must have the same value.

Mind Quiz offers a simple way for children to practice missing-number addition through multiple-choice questions. The classroom design, large numbers, and familiar arithmetic problems make it a useful learning activity for young students who want to become more confident with addition.
